Archos 9 Tablets Challenging iPad
For Henri Crohas, founder and CEO of Archos, the French technology company, presenting the first ultra-mobile handheld computer with touch-screen technology such as Archos 9 with operating system Windows 7 is an important breakthrough.
Unlike Apple’s iPad, Archos 9 is the choice for those who want new experience in the digital touch-screen technology and have the option to use it as a complete computer with a variety of additional equipment that can be brought anywhere.
French products with touch screen technology called Archos 9 Tablet PC uses Atom Z515 processor made by Intel Corp. with a computing speed of 1.2 GHz and capable for operating approximately five hours. Weighing less than 800 grams, the Archos 9 have the monitor resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and 60 GB hard disk, wireless and Bluetooth connections, and two antennas DVB-T digital TV.
Archos touchscreen multitouch 9 does not have such capabilities on a desktop computer products, such as Hewlett-Packard TouchSmart 600. That’s because, one of the weaknesses of Windows 7 in introducing the touch-screen technology was not providing all the basic applications to run this multitouch activity.
Lifestyle
What was fun of the Archos 9 compared with similar products, including Apple’s iPad, is the option of use according to consumer tastes. In the iPad, how to control and use of digital tablets product is regulated by Apple and not too many options that can be done, for example, connecting these futuristic devices to the TV.
There are two options to operate Windows 7, first through the touch screen which a little bit difficult because the 8.9 inches monitor is still too small for your fingers (even when doing calibration) to control the application. The second way is to use existing optical mouse control on the right side by moving the thumb so that the Windows cursor could be pointed to applications that you want to use.
Archos 9 is attractive and affordable option than the iPad. Has sufficient memory capacity of 1 GB, Archos 9 is alternative devices compared to the netbooks that will soon abandoned the manufacturer for various reasons. Archos products is capable to display the digital lifestyle into today’s trends.

Apple Kick Google from iPhone

Google button that previously appeared on the iPhone virtual keyboard to do a search on the internet was no longer appear in the iPhone OS 4. Instead, the button is now simply appeared as “Search”. But when clicked, still pointing to Google’s search services.
These changes have previously been carried out by Apple in iPhone OS 3.2 which used by iPad. in iPhone OS 3.1.3 which used by iPhone 3GS, Google says there is a blue button at the bottom right corner of the virtual keyboard when the Safari search function accessed.
Not only that. Web search engine option to be displayed in the Spotlight feature on the iPhone OS4 also did not mention Google. There was only mentioned Search the Web.
May be the changes seemed small but it means probably comfirm the rumor that Apple was “cheating”. Previously, there was a rumor that Apple and Microsoft was talking with Bing to become search engine option in the iPhone.
Apple and Google’s relationship slightly decreased after the release of Android and the Nexus One. Steve Jobs, CEO Apple, consider that Google has hurt their relationship by entering the smartphone business which competes directly with Apple.
