Windows Phone 7 Sold 2 Million Units
Microsoft Corp. reported total sales of smart phones with Windows Phone 7 software that has been through the numbers more than 2 million units. This sale was a success because the new Windows 7 Phone launched in October 2010.

Topaz and Opal, Tablets from HP
Since acquiring Palm a year ago, Hewlett Packard (HP) will use WebOS platform for computer products, tablets, and smartphones. However, until now not clear when HP will begin to enter the market with such products.

One of them with a 9 inch screen is called Topaz, while that with a smaller screen is only 7 inches is called Opal. Topaz is wider and also features a front camera, a micro USB port at the bottom, and 1.2 GHz processor.
There has been no official schedule when the two devices will be released to the market. However, the rumor said Opal will be launched with Verizon service in the U.S. in September and next year with AT & T. Meanwhile, Topaz may be launched first. However, once again it’s still a rumor.
Android can also serve as Hotspot
Android Platform 2.2 or called Froyo adding new features that can turn a smartphone into hotspot. This might be one of attractive feature and will often be used by Android users because generally smartphone user also use other devices using WiFi access to access internet.
With these features, Froyo based smartphone can act as a WiFi router. Internet connection via a broadband cellular network can be shared to other devices via WiFi networks. It is very practical to use because it can flexibly be brought anywhere. You can use it in the meeting room, or even when driving in the car with the family.
