Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) processor chip sales estimates in the third quarter would be lower than forecast. According to the company’s main competitor Intel Corp, the reason for decline in sales due to falling demand for notebook computers in Europe and North America.

AMD predicts, sales will decline between 1 to 4 percent of total sales in the second quarter reached 1.65 billion U.S. dollars.
