Xperia X10 is Not for the "Niche Market"

vivazSo many applications are offered in the series Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, impressing that this phone will only be “sold” to users who belong to the gadget freak, or who likes tinkering with. If so, is Sony Ericsson’s creating a niche market for Xperia X10?

Hirokazu Ishisuka, Corporate Vice President, Head of Asia Pacific Region from Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, does not agree with these assumptions.

“I do not think so. With the wide variety of applications available, anyone would actually enjoy these applications. It could also because the size of screen, size, or variations of the supplied applications Android Market. Also some unique application specific for Sony Ericsson,” said Hiro-san, in the Sony Ericsson Media Conference 2010 in Singapore, Tuesday (3/9/2010) evening.

Anyone will be able to enjoy this series phone, because what Sony Ericsson actually did is to make a broad series of what customers want. Therefore, by segmentation Hiro not worrying these mobile variants will be competing with each other.

“If you want a firm and which provides a very powerful solution, you can use X10. But if you want to select the type of compact size, you can choose X10 Mini. The phone is really fit in the hand,” he said.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz has another segmentation. This series is intended for mobile multimedia user who want to create high-quality video. Would you prefer a total touch screen design or with sliding keypad with the addition of a QWERTY keyboard? Two options are also provided by Vivaz and Vivaz Pro.

  • That rss option on your site here is brilliant, you should tell people about it in your next post. I haven’t noticed it a first, now I’m using it every morning to check on any updates. I’m on a rattling slow dial-up link in Alabama and it’s quite baffling to sit there and wait for such a long time ’til the page loads… but hey, I just found your rss page and added it to the Google Reader and there you are… I’m always up-to-date! Well pal, keep up the good work and make that rss button a little bigger so that other people can enjoy that as well :-P

  • I hadn’t began up roadmaps, although had used them each day or two ahead of however the phone had been rebooted considering that then. Checking on the about perform showed that roadmaps had been the cause of 70% of the total battery drain. Naturally I killed it, nevertheless it keeps restarting. Now I do not wish to uninstall Yahoo and google roadmaps simply because it can be a really helpful performance and have utilized it effectively as saatnav on several occasions and identified it to become more uptodate and accurate than my dedicated satnav. But is there a setting somewhere that I could tweak to stop it from starting up up except when I start off it myself? Running a process killer on the scheduled basis and owning it kill maps seriously isn’t a fix for me, as what occurs when I want to use it and find it getting killed routinely.
